Provided Mobile Number Is Already Associated With Another Irctc Account

If you’re like most people, you probably have multiple accounts with various providers. And if you’re an Indian traveler, chances are you also have an Irctc account. However, what happens if you lose your phone or it gets stolen? In such cases, it can be difficult to replace the mobile number. Here are some tips on how to deal with this situation.

    What are irctc numbers?

If your mobile number is already associated with an IRCTC account, you can use the same number to log in to your account on the app. If you don’t have an IRCTC account, you can create one by entering your full name, email address and password. Once you’ve logged in, click on the ‘My Account’ tab and enter your Mobile Number under ‘Account Details.’

How to port your irctc number

If you already have an irctc account, but your mobile number is not associated with it, you can port your number to your irctc account. To port your number, go to the irctc website and click on “Account Settings.” Under “Mobile Number,” enter your mobile number and click on “Port My Mobile Number.” You will then be asked to confirm that you want to port your number. After you confirm the port, irctc will send you a message confirming that your number has been ported.

How to get a new irctc number

If you have lost your irctc number and want a new one, you can get one by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your irctc account on the website or app.

    2. Click on “My Account” at the top of the screen.

    3. Find “Lost/Stolen Phone Number” under “Account Info.” Click on it to open the page.

    4. Fill out the form with your full name, email address, and phone number. Make sure you enter your current phone number so that we can verify it is yours. We will send you a temporary password to use while your new number is being processed.

    5. Once you’ve submitted the form, we’ll send you an email notifying you that your new number has been processed and will be available for use within 24 hours.

How to use your irctc number

If you have an irctc account and a mobile number, you can use your mobile number to sign in to the irctc website.

To sign in to the irctc website using your mobile number, open the website on your computer.

In the top left corner of the screen, click on the circle with a green cross in it. This will open up a menu.

    Click on Sign In.

Type in your irctc credentials (username and password). If you don’t have an irctc account, click on Register Now.

If you have an irctc account and a linked bank account, you can also use your bank account information to sign in to the irctc website. To do this, open the website on your computer.

In the top left corner of the screen, click on the circle with a green cross in it. This will open up a menu.

    Conclusion

If you have provided your mobile number already to another IRCTC account, then unfortunately we are not able to help you. If you would like to open a new account or switch your current account to a new phone number, please follow the steps outlined in our Account Opening guide.
