Passport Has Been Received From The Consular Section, And Is Currently Being Processed For Delivery
Congratulations! You’ve just received your new passport. Now, what do you do? For starters, make sure to properly dispose of your old passport. If you don’t, it may end up in the wrong hands and could be used for identity theft or other nefarious activities. Additionally, be sure to keep your passport safe. Storing it in a fireproof safe or somewhere else that is secure is a good idea. If you have any questions about your passport or need help processing it, don’t hesitate to reach out to the embassy or consulate nearest you. They are more than happy to help.

Receive your passport as soon as possible.
Documents needed for a passport application:
(1) Adult applicant must appear in person at any of the following locations:
Passport Agency – One Stop Shop (OSS) branches located at District Land Offices across the country; or
Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO); or * Regional Offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO). You may also apply through any DFA/CFO Consular Office abroad, but you will have to pay all fees there.
Receive your passport as soon as possible.
It’s important to know that your passport is a legal document that allows you to travel internationally. Passports are issued by the government, and they’re essential for international travel.
If you’ve applied for a passport online or in person, there are a few things we can tell you about how long it will take before you receive your new one:
If you apply through the mail (i.e., not at an acceptance facility), we estimate that processing takes 2-4 weeks from when we receive all required documentation from USPS or UPS tracking states “Arrival at Post Office”. This means if these packages arrive on Monday morning, we’ll process them first thing Tuesday morning! However if they arrive later than this–say Friday afternoon–it may take longer than two weeks until those applications are completed due to volume of incoming mail each day which slows down our ability to process applications quickly enough before closing time each day (we close at 4pm Eastern Standard Time). We strongly recommend sending out any mail-in applications early so they reach us before noon EST daily because otherwise there’s no guarantee whether they’ll get processed during one single shift since most people come here between 9am-11am EST during weekdays only.”
Documents needed for a passport application
Passport application form
Birth certificate (if you are applying for your first passport)
Marriage certificate (if you are applying for your second or subsequent passport)
Identification document, such as a driver’s license or state-issued identification card. This should be government-issued and must contain a photo of you with your full name printed on it. If you do not have one of these documents, please contact us at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
Do not delay in submitting your documents to expedite the process.
If you are applying for a passport and need it within the next 4 weeks, we suggest that you apply in person.
