Even Though Kenny Was A Great Roommate, John Hated ________ In The Shower

John met Kenny in college, and they were roommates for three years. Kenny was great—he was always up for a party and loved to have fun. But John never really got to know Kenny that well. He found out that Kenny had a dark side: he would often take advantage of John in the shower. John is now single and lives in an apartment by himself. One day, he was taking a shower and had just finished when he heard someone knocking on his door. It was Kenny, asking to come in. John refused, but Kenny kept insisting until John relented. Once inside, Kenny started groping John and tried to force himself on him. John fought back, grabbing a towel to defend himself. In the end, both men ended up getting arrested. What happened between John and Kenny could have been avoided if they had only talked about their differences sooner. Although friendship is important, it’s also important to be honest with one another—especially when it comes to sensitive topics like this one.

    John

John hated that he had to shower with Kenny. He thought it was dirty and awkward. But, despite his dislike of the shower, John considered Kenny a great roommate. They got along well and John learned a lot from him. John would miss their chats in the shower and their occasional game of video poker.

    Kenny

John had a very difficult time getting along with Kenny. John found Kenny to be irritating and always trying to start arguments. Despite this, John decided that he could live with Kenny.

One of the biggest problems between John and Kenny was the fact that they both loved showering together. John would never let Kenny get a word in edgewise and it often resulted in them arguing in the shower. Although this was frustrating for John, he eventually learned to tolerate it.

    The shower

John despised Kenny in the shower. He found him endlessly clowning around, spraying water all over the place, and making a fool of himself. John had always been more reserved and didn’t enjoy being the center of attention. But with Kenny in the shower, it was impossible to avoid him.

Kenny would startle John every time he came up behind him and start spraying water all over his back. John would have to quickly turn around so that the water wouldn’t get into his eyes or hair. And then there was the noise…the constant clanging and laughter as Kenny rinsed off. It was driving John crazy!

Despite their differences, John and Kenny got along well most of the time. But in the shower, there was always something that made them fight.

    Conclusion

John hated Kenny in the shower. He always took too long and would get all sudsy and waterlogged, making it difficult for John to shampoo properly. Plus, whenever John tried to rinse Kenny off himself, he would end up getting soap on his hair and body. It was a nightmare every time they had to take a shower together.

Kenny was a great roommate. He paid the rent on time, never brought girls back to the apartment after midnight and he never stole food from John’s refrigerator. Still, there were some things that made living with Kenny difficult for John.

The problem was that John hated the color of Kenny’s shower curtain. It was a pale orange color and it made him feel like he was bathing in a pumpkin.

John didn’t like the color of Kenny’s shower curtain at all!

The door itself was a travesty. It was a dark wood with gold handles, like something out of a tavern or a speakeasy. John would never have chosen this kind of door if he’d had any say in the matter.

The shower itself, though, was wondrous! It had three heads, each pointed in a different direction so that you could wash your hair from all angles.

John hated this feature because he didn’t like sharing the bathroom with Kenny and their friend Henry (who also lived with them). But John still appreciated how great the shower was when he showered alone.

Kenny always left his towel on the floor instead of hanging it up like he was supposed to. This annoyed John whenever he forgot his own towel at home and had to use Kenny’s instead.

John was also bothered by how thickly Kenny draped his shower curtain, which made it difficult for him to see what he was doing in there (or even where the drain was). He also didn’t like that when he opened up the bathroom door after showering himself, he’d run into another door–Kenny’s–and feel bad about having just walked through someone else’s personal space without knocking first (even though Kenny never seemed to mind).

Lastly, John couldn’t stand how loud his roommate’s shower head sounded every time he turned it on–it sounded like Niagara Falls!

John really hated living with Kenny

He hated the shower curtain he had to use, because it was a different color than the rest of the bathroom. He felt like it looked out of place and made him feel weird when he was in there.

Kenny liked to leave his towel on the floor after taking a shower, and John would always have to pick it up and put it away so that he didn’t trip over it when he walked into or out of the bathroom.
